Describe a water sport that you would like to try in the future
You should say:
What it is;
When and where you would like to play;
Whether it is difficult or not;
And why you would like to try.
Off the top of my head, the first water sport that I?d like to give a try in the future is swimming. In all honesty335, I’m a newbie336 when it comes to swimming. I have no idea how to swim, I just never learned how to.
My friend told me it’s a little tricky337 to learn how to float in the water at the beginning, but after I grasp that skill, the rest will be a piece of cake338. I think it’s really important to stick to practicing on a regular basis, otherwise all the efforts trying to learn how to swim will be wasted.
Fortunately, even though I never learned how to swim, there are a ton of places near me where I can practice and learn. For example, I can sign up for a swimming class for beginners at my university. Besides, a new swimming center was just built in our neighborhood, which makes it a breeze to sign up for classes.
Anyway, as for why I want to learn swimming, well… I’ve heard a lot from my friends that swimming can do wonders for339 building body shape. It involves the activity of each and every muscle in your body, which helps strengthen the body and promote good health340. Plus, other kinds of water sports, like diving, sailing, or surfing, are more difficult for me. The intensity of the thrill341 of those sports makes me worry about my own safety. So, honestly, swimming feels much safer to learn as a sport.
