本单元的目的是通过多样化的练习形式帮助考生了解和熟悉IELTS听力考试 的不同题型，培养考生的应试能力以及在听英语会话、讲座和报告中捕捉重要信 息的能力。
建议考生在听之前，要认真审题。根据IELTS听力考试的要求，每个部分之 前都有30秒钟的读题时间。考生要充分利用这30秒钟的时间。可用前10秒钟快 速阅读该部分所有的题，以便了解该部分都有什么题；再用后20秒钟认真阅读前 3〜4道题，以求理解并记住，这样做题时就有针对性。此外，虽然问题的排列顺 序和答案在听力材料中出现的顺序保持一致，但也要尽可能多记住几道题。这样 能有效避免因没捕捉到一个题点而错过几道题的情况发生。
