Well, I can hardly say that I’m a straight A student, but honestly, I think I have a knack for math. Last May, when I took part in a math competition held by my college, I managed to win third place. At the time, I happened to have a day off from school and I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate this big win70. So I called several of my besties to have a meet-up.

Dining at a restaurant would’ve been a little costly for us, so we all thought it was a great idea to have a BBQ party on my balcony. I prepared all the food and beverages for the party and also cleaned my apartment from top to bottom before they came. Everyone was there around 5pm. It was a total surprise that they prepared a gift for me and gave it to me right after they entered my home. It was a custom cake71 that had “congratulations for your success” written on the cake. I was so moved by their thoughtful gift.

That night, we had a dope72 BBQ party. After dinner, we ate the cake my friends bought. And we drank a boatload of beer and just shot the breeze as we enjoyed dinner. They all said they were blown away by how great my math was. I was over the moon hearing so many good comments on my math skills. And those kind words made me become more driven73 in learning math afterwards.
