I’d like to talk about a time I watched the sky when I was in a rural area. During the holiday last October, my uncle invited the whole family to hang out at his new home in the suburbs. There aren’t any tall buildings there, just endless farm fields.

And I was super impressed by a farm nearby where I saw an enormous field of wheat that had just turned ripe89. Perhaps because of the open space without any buildings, I felt the sky was very clear and especially close to me like I could touch it with just a lift of my hand90. And it was a sunny day with a couple of white clouds floating91 in the blue sky. So the golden sunshine spread on the wheat field and made the wheat shine. Honestly, the view took my breath away.

I don’t know how many photos I took of the irresistible landscapes. But I did capture a lot of the glorious sky and the farm fields. Later after I uploaded them onto social media, a lot of my friends commented that the sky was so spectacular that they thought I photoshopped the pictures92.

Anyway, because of buildings and polluted air in the city, I hadn’t seen such a beautiful sky in a long time. And I found it quite relaxing to watch the big blue dome93. So from then on, I began to love watching the sky, especially when the weather is clear. It’s really a good way for me to wind down.
