I’d like to visit the biggest library in my hometown. It was just built last year. I actually heard the news of its construction from social media, specifically WeChat. Many of my friends have been there since its opening. They posted125 lots of photos of the library inside and outside126 on social media, so I basically know what it looks like.

It’s a grand building with over ten stories. The architectural structure of the library is built in Chinese classical styles. From a distance127, it looks like a giant Chinese pavilion128. And the whole building is basically built in three colors: black, white, and grey, which gives the place a solemn atmosphere. What I find most spectacular about the buildings is the shape of the roof, which is built in a step formation to wish people a journey toward a lifetime of success. And the whole building is surrounded by green plants. At first glance, the plants around the library make it seem like a peaceful garden. I bet you must feel at ease when you study there.

Since its location is a little far from my home, about an hour drive away129, I haven’t gotten the chance to check it out in person130 According to my friends who have been there, the interior design of the library is very modern and stylish. And they have tons of books, including top-sellers131, for people to borrow. So when I go back to my hometown next time, I think I will give it a visit for sure132.
