Describe a person who is good at his or her job
You should say:
Who this person is
What his or her job is
How he or she likes the job
And explain why this person is good at the job
Off the top of my head, the first person that comes to mind is my previous co-worker Lisa. I know her because of a part-time job I had during last summer vacation, where my job responsibility was mainly marketing electronics. Lisa was a sales manager at the company and she is a natural239 at what she does.
I met Lisa for the first time during the orientation240. Someone in human resources introduced her to me and mentioned that Lisa’s sales team always had the highest sales revenue every quarter. Later when I actually started the job, I found that Lisa was the go-to person241 whenever people in the sales team ran into trouble242. Basically, Lisa would assist every new person with closing their first deal. Even veteran staff members often consulted her about matters that made them feel out of their depth. She always helped them think outside of the box and encouraged them to have the nerve to break the routine.
Lisa said she loves socializing and has great people skills243, so after graduating from college, she chose the career of being a salesperson without a second thought. As for why she’s good at sales, well, I think it’s because of her kind and warm personality. She literally has a natural charisma that makes people trust her. Besides, she’s very careful with observation and can see the details that others might neglect. It’ s definitely a required quality for a good salesperson.
