1. How should young people perform in their first jobs?

Well, young people should give it their all344, especially when it comes to their first jobs. It5s really important to build a good career for yourself, and that all begins when you start working. So making a good impression on your boss by being a strong employee345 is really key. Normally, a boss thinks highly of346 the ones who show a good work attitude. Plus, young people should respect the veterans and try to build good work relationships with their coworkers.

2. How can people improve their job performance?

I suppose that they can improve their job performance by talking to their boss and coworkers to see what areas they can strengthen. For example, if they feel like they’re bad at communicating, they should talk to the people they work with so they can figure out ways to improve that. It5s important to get feedback from the people your job performance actually affects. They can also look up tips online347, which is fairly convenient”

3. What skill set should a manager have?

It seems to me that a manager should have really strong communication and leadership skills. They should be able to talk to their employees openly about what they expect and how they want tasks to be done. Having a good leadership style is also quite important. You know, they shouldn’t just yell at their employees when they want something done. That’s not efficient at all. They need to lead the team in a helpful and effective way.

4. Do you think what you have learned in university is going to help in your future job?

Yeah, I actually think I’ve learned lots of useful skills. I’ve learned how to communicate well and to stay organized. Those are all really important, transferable skills 348 you can easily apply in the workplace. And now I can say I’m pretty good at communication and managing my time. I think that whatever job I end up with, I’ll be able to do well because of the skills I picked up in university.

5. Which do you think is more important, academic skills or practical skills?

Well, it’s hard to say. I think there’s a lot of value in both349 academic and practical skills. I mean, practical skills are essential to people5 s daily life and work, especially the basic ones like driving skills and cooking skills. But academic skills help develop advanced thinking350, which is helpful for people to solve problems and create new things. For example, a lot of scientific advancements wouldn’t be possible without academic skills. In my opinion, it would be better if one can possess both of those
kinds of skills.
