1. What kind of music is popular in China?
In China, pop music is probably the most popular genre412. You know, they like something you can dance to. Plus, pop music is really generic, so it appeals to lots of different people. Pop songs usually have catchy melodies and lyrics413 that are super easy to learn and sing along to. They’re just fun to listen to, no matter what your age is.
2. What kind of music do people like at different ages?
I think that when people are young, they like music with a good beat, like pop or rap. They just want something they can dance to or sing along with. But as they get older, they might try different kinds of music, like folk or jazz. I find that old people enjoy music that’s very relaxed, like classical music. But music is something you can enjoy at any age, and sometimes it doesn’t matter what the genre is.
3. In your opinion, what kinds of music will be popular in the future?
Well, I don’t think people’s taste in music changes that much. I mean, even decades ago, pop music was still as popular as it is now. So I believe that pop music will have a lot of fans in the future as well. Plus, rock and rap are also really popular genres. People are crazy about some of those songs. So I guess that those will continue to be on top in the years to come.
4. How do you think a song can be successful?
I suppose that in order for a song to be successful, it has to have a catchy melody. You know, you want a song that’s going to get stuck in people’s heads414 It should also be easy to sing along to. I find that people enjoy songs they can sing to while they’re in the car or even in the shower. A good beat is also important. People like songs they can dance to.
5. Should record companies focus on making money or good music?
I think that record companies should focus more on making good music. It’s the whole reason they exist, after all. So they should prioritize415 making music that people will love and enjoy. That’s what helps them make money in the first place. If they turn out good songs, people are going to support them by buying and listening to those songs. If money is all they focus on, the quality of their music is going to suffer416.
6. Can everyone be a singer by training hard?
I don’t think everyone can be a singer. It doesn’t always make a difference417 if they try really hard. Some people are just naturally talented at singing. But others don’t necessarily have the knack for418 it. For example, some people are born tone-deaf419, so it’s kind of impossible for them to sing well. But I think that training hard can definitely improve people’s talents. It just might not make them a successful singer.
7. What are the conditions of being a good singer?
It seems to me that to be a good singer, you first have to have a natural gift for it420. Some people can train to be better at singing, but you can tell when someone just has the knack for it. Those are the ones who usually make it big as singers421. But even if you have that gift, you still have to work hard to improve yourself. After all, practice makes perfect422.
