1. What do young people like to wear?
Well, it depends on their personality. But generally speaking, young people always like wearing clothes that express who they are. They don’t really care about convention as much. So you could see young people dressed in the latest, wildest453 fashions, or you could see young people who like dressing more subtly454. I suppose that young people aren’t afraid to try new styles. It’s part of what makes them unique.
2. Whafs the difference between the dressing style of young people and that of old people?
In general, young people dress more freely and old people dress more conservatively. To be specific, young people are obsessed with the latest trends. They don’t care if they aren’t modest or traditional. They just like wearing clothes that express their personalities. But old people are more set in their ways455. They like wearing clothes that are more old-fashioned. They definitely don’t like showing off a lot of skin.
3. When do people wear formal clothes?
People usually wear formal clothes to special occasions, like weddings or funerals. It’s a courtesy to456 dress up properly for those events. It’s just part of showing your respect to whoever is being honoured. Some people wear formal clothes for job interviews, or if they work somewhere fancy. Plus, it’s common to wear formal clothes if you go to special events, like a conference or something like that.
4. Do you think students should wear uniforms?
I don’t really think that students should wear uniforms. On the one hand, uniforms make things simpler for students. They don’t have to feel as pressured to fit in and keep up with the latest fashions. But on the other hand, wearing uniforms limits students’ creativity. If they have to wear uniforms, it’s harder for them to express themselves through what they choose to wear. Plus, wearing the same thing every day would be really boring.
5. What are the differences between people,s clothes in the southern vs northern part of a country?
I think that in general, people in the northern part of China wear clothes designed for cold weather. But it’s the opposite in the south. You know, in the north, the temperatures are usually lower, and there might even be lots of snow. So they probably wear heavier clothes made out of warm fabrics457. People living in northern cities like Harbin all have a heavy winter coat. But people in the south usually experience warmer weather. So they might wear lighter, looser clothes instead. I heard people in Hainan province can wear shorts throughout the year.
