The simple answer is when the person is ready for it. Driving is considered a common life skill, and I think maybe seventeen or eighteen is the best age when teenagers will have more time to practice before college.
When I have to add one more candle for my birthday cake, I feel about getting older. But I prefer to think of myself as getting more mature and have more experience in this beautiful world.
Sure, throughout history, elders in the community were treated with respect, revered as wise sources of advice resulting from their life experiences. As for the young generation, we need to show respect to the elder and take more care of them.
