故事简介：说韩语是一个我学到实用的技能，现在我已经能基本会一些基础单词和会话了。自从6个 月前，迷上了韩剧“来自星星的你’’，我就决定学韩语。我通常都是通过看韩剧和电视节目来学习，并且每周两次练习说韩语。一开始对我来说还是比较难的，因为韩语和英语韩语完全不一样。然而我觉 得学习韩语很有趣，而且，我还能因为学习到韩国的文化，而且我相信这个也会给我带来一:些工作机会。

Speaking Korean is the practical skill that I have learned. What makes me happy is that I have become fluent in basic Korean vocabularies and conversations.

I decided to learn it 6 months ago after getting addicted to a popular Korean drama called ‘My Love from the Star’. Actually, Korean culture is quite popular in my countries, there are hundreds of Korean dramas on different platforms, and youths are crazy for Korean celebrities, which increases the popularity of Korean. The main way that I am using is to follow the scripts of the episodes and TV shows on YouTube when I am in my room. It’s a cheap and convenient method of learning. I would also subscribe numerous channels and try to practice speaking twice a week.

Actually, it’s tough for me to learn it at the beginning, as its speaking and writing are very special, and they are totally different from Chinese as well as English. It took me a long time to get used to it. However, I would say that, with a unique tone and pronunciation, Korean is probably one of the most interesting languages in the world. In addition, with the study of Korean, I have got a glimpse  of amazing South Korean culture. I also believe that learning Korean is very beneficial because it might bring some job opportunities for me in the future.
