I am proud of one of my best friends, Jane, as she can speak Korean fluently just with a 6-month study. Learning Korean was a regular activity when she was available and alone at home, which had not lasted for a long time. What impressive is that she had become fluent in Korean conversations so quickly.

She decided to learn it 6 months ago after getting addicted to a popular Korean drama called !My Love from the Star’. The main way that she used was to follow the scripts of the episodes and TV shows on YouTube, It’s a cheap and convenient method of learning. She also subscribed (订阅）numerous channels and tried to practice speaking twice a week.

Actually, it’s tough for her to learn it at the beginning, as its speaking and writing are very special, and they are entirely different from Chinese as well as English. It took her two months to get used to it. You know, with a unique tone and pronunciation, Korean is probably one of the most interesting languages in the world. Besides, with the study of Korean, she has got a glimpse of amazing South Korean culture. I was super happy for her, as I believed that the success in learning Korean made her more confident. And it would bring lots of Korean working opportunities for her.
