I first met her in a fascinating lecture given by my mathematics teacher, Mrs. Chen, when I was in primary school. During the lecture in a spacious room, Mrs. Chen aimed to introduce us to solve problems with basic operations, like addition and multiplication, and how to think about simple real-life problems using mathematics. It’s lucky that I sat next to Jane at that time, as she was talented at math. We discussed various daily examples related to mathematics. For example, counting people in rush hour is an excellent way to evaluate the profit of a local Sushi store.

Jane is so intelligent that I would like to study with her. At that time, Jane was very friendly to me, she was very dedicated to me and explained difficult theories with funny stories, and that’s why we became great partners since that. Her confident and outgoing personality have an important impact on me, and I learned a lot of useful skills from her, such as drawing. Although we haven’t met each other that much since graduating from high school, it’s no doubt that she is always living in my heart.
