1. What kind of music do people like at different ages?

I don’t really know what kind of music kids like, just because I feel like they like all kinds of stuffs. Young people, at least young people around me, they like rock and roll. For older people all the way till mid-age, I think they love those nostalgia types of songs.

2. What kind of music is popular in china now and what kind will be in the future?

Hip-hop are always popular in China as long as I know. Rock-and-roll is on the raise especially among the young people. There are also a group of people love classical music, like symphony or piano music.

3. Do people learn to sing nowadays?

Yes, I think people still learn to sing nowadays. I think it is almost human nature. People would sing along and get interested in singing when they are listening to their favorite songs. And some of them, would get motivated to actually learn how to sing.

4. Do you think the most popular singer is the best one?

Not necessarily. I do think some of the popular singer are very good, one of the best even. But I don’t think it is always like that. Sometimes popular singers just hit the audience’s heart at that moment. But then some of the best singers are like real artists, they are really good at art but maybe audience don’t get it.
