Yes, I think Chinese people like to visit historical buildings very much. I think that might be because that we do have a long history and that there are a lot of historical buildings to visit, and it’s like never ending.

2. Why do people visit historical buildings?

The most apparent reason I think would be that they are indeed beautiful. You can hardly imagine how people from so many years ago, without our modern technology, built those buildings. Also those buildings lived through years, they are history themselves.

3. Is it necessary to protect historical buildings?

Yes, I do believe we should protect at least some of those historical buildings. As I said, historical buildings are history themselves. As long as those buildings are out there, people can go there and experience the sense of history. They tell people where they came from.

4. Do most people agree to the government’s funding to protect historical buildings?

I do think many people agree that the government should fund to protect historic buildings, at east those that are very famous and valuable. There might be people not agreeing that government should pay though, but I think even them agrees we should protect those buildings somehow.
