I often feel cheesed off with commercials. One of the main reasons is they force me to take a break from my favorite shows. Usually, they come on right at the climax of a series, which drives me nuts.

2. Do people usually buy stuff after watching advertisement?

Sometimes, advertisements are good enough to convince people to buy things. However, most of the time, I feel that the advertisement makes people want things for short periods of time, so they never follow through with the purchase.

I think music is a great way to hook an audience. In fact, when a commercial uses a good song, I tend to remember it for a longer period of time, and am more apt to buy the product.

TV advertisements force people to watch them, because they are on during TV shows. Internet advertisements make it easier for a person to shop for an item, because all you have to do is click on the ad.
