I feel that knowing how to operate technology is one of the most technical skills. From using word processing to operating a smart phone, if you don’t have the essential tech skills you will certainly struggle.

Personally, I find it hard to learn new skills that involve engineering. This subject baffles me. However, it truly depends on the person, as some work better with their hands and others with their minds.

A lot of trades require practical skills. For instance, a repairman must have knowledge of machinery, a chef must be able to cook and a life guard must be able to swim.

There are so many skills to choose from. I think, one of the handiest is to learn to save someone’s life. For instance, becoming skilled in CPR and first aid training would truly be special.
