本单元共有20个练习。练习的重点是人物描述(Description)和找方位 (Location)。这两项技能是我们日常生活中不可缺少的,而且与国外实际生活紧密 相关。
本单元用图片、图表和地图等形式,帮助考生通过对人物的描述,或对方位 的指令和指引,选出要找的人或要找的地方,通过练习培养考生边听、边看、边 记的综合能力。
建议考生在做图片练习时,要注意图片中人物的共同点和不同点,以提高答 题的命中率。在做找方位的练习时,要认真看图上已有的信息,如街名、地名。 这样,在做听力练习时即使没跟上指令,只要记住了图上的地名,也有助于找到位置,因为在给指令时常以图中已有的地名作参照,如:opposite the church, behind the school, next to the post office。
